Day 1

In the morning, following breakfast, we’ll pick you up from the Springlands Hotel and embark on a picturesque journey to Tarangire National Park. This stunning park promises an unparalleled game viewing experience, especially during the dry season when it attracts a multitude of animals, creating a spectacular wildlife and bird watching spectacle.

Tarangire’s landscape is incredibly diverse, boasting grassy savannah plains, lush swamps, rolling hills, and iconic baobab trees. During the dry season, the park becomes a haven for elephants, which can be spotted roaming amidst the ancient baobab trees, stripping acacia bark from the thorn trees. The breathtaking views of the Masai steppe and mountains in the south make a stopover at Tarangire truly memorable.

As you explore the park, you’ll encounter herds of elephants, followed by zebras, buffalo, and oryxes, all seeking water sources during this dry period. Keep an eye out for the majestic lions prowling around the jungle, adding to the excitement of your safari. Tarangire is also renowned for its diverse birdlife, with more breeding species found here than anywhere else on the planet.

Traversed by the Tarangire River, which remains a constant water source even in the dry season, the park provides vital sustenance for its inhabitants. After a full day of exploration, we’ll make our way back to the Highview Coffee Lodge for a relaxing overnight stay, complete with lunch, dinner, and breakfast included.

Day 2

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. This volcanic wonder is the world’s largest intact caldera, teeming with diverse wildlife. Descend to the crater floor to explore Lake Magadi, a prominent feature. Here, you’ll encounter an array of wildlife, including black rhinos and prides of lions. The crater is also home to colorful flamingoes and various water birds. After your adventure, return to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3

This morning, embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled against the steep escarpment of the Rift Valley, the park boasts a diverse landscape, including evergreen groundwater forests, acacia woodlands, grassy plains, and the expansive lake itself. This variety of ecosystems attracts a wide array of mammal, bird, and wildlife species.

Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, along with other wildlife such as buffalo, impala, giraffe, bushbuck, waterbuck, hippos, and elephants, which can often be spotted near the lake. Additionally, don’t miss the opportunity to observe blue monkeys, vervet monkeys, and the lively olive baboon troops.

Lake Manyara is renowned for its abundant birdlife, with large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the vibrant lilac-breasted roller among its highlights. Even novice birdwatchers will be amazed by the park’s avian diversity.
